After last week's sunshine it was back to the usual Scottish summer weather (!) for Laura & Alan's wedding at Melville Castle.
I've noticed a trend this year for more interesting bouquets with strong colours than previously - this was Laura's:
Alan wondering when Laura will arrive .... early of course!
Told you the weather was miserable! Melville Castle is stunning inside so it's a great venue for a wet wedding.
The foyer is very traditional in appearance, so it was time for a traditional-style portrait of Laura:
After the wedding we did some less traditional pictures :-)
For the second week in a row the photographer became the subject!
Nice camera Anna :-)
Fortunately the weather improved in the late afternoon. Esther and her team did their usual excellent job of keeping everything running smoothly, and the food was fantastic. The evening reception featured the excellent Beep The Jeep - wierd name, great band!
